Ryou Hamura
Ryou Hamura: generic hero #157. The poster boy for nice guys and always willing to help even complete strangers out of a jam, even if it means sacrificing his own happiness. This sometimes gets him into trouble, as his constantly chipper attitude and constant positive outlook on life often rubs people the wrong way. Ryou has a lot of aspirations in life; to graduate from high school with slightly higher than just passing grades, to move to America, and to play baseball for the New York Yankees; the only thing standing in the way of his dreams is his complete stupidity when it comes to the subject of Physics, which he’s currently failing. Not yet aware of his powers, Ryou is being monitored by the Astronomy Club and, more specifically, his new Physics tutor, Izumi Kagura.
Primary Power: Crimson Flash - Ryou has the ability to turn himself into a blazing form of pure red energy that has the capability to burn on contact if he so chooses. This energy can also be channeled for other, yet at this point unknown, uses.

Izumi Kagura
As the leader of the "Astronomy Club", Izumi's coolheaded under pressure, and always tries her best to remain calm and focused, keeping the ragtag group of her normality-impaired peers in line. She comes off as very cold, almost to the point where she would offend people, but she can't help her frigid demeanor. Izumi is all logic, all the time, and rarely shows her emotions. As the gal in charge, she makes sure that all of her friends are protected from both physical and mental harm…which is why she never hesitates to erase painful memories from her friends' minds if she has to.
Primary Power: Mind Wipe - With a simple touch, Izumi can lock or completely erase select memories of the person that she comes in contact with.
Auxiliary Powers: Healing - Izumi is able to heal up to near-fatal injuries of anyone but herself, but the more serious the injury, the more strength it drains from her.

Kyoka Nanaogi
A girl with a mysterious past, Kyoka's only link between herself and her history is Izumi; however, she doesn't know this, as Izumi's erased her memory, and for good reason. Kyoka always seems to be the center of attention in school, especially around the boys; it’s by no fault of her own that she’s popular, and sometimes gets flustered at the attention that she’s lavished with by the fanboys that always seen to be following her around. She's not conceited in the least bit, but can sometimes let her attractiveness go to her head. But generally, she's a good person, albeit slightly egotistical.
Primary Power: Mind Reading - This ability allows Kyoka to read the mind of anyone within a 100 foot radius. However, the two people whose minds are completely locked away from her are Izumi and Makoto.
Auxiliary Power: Energy Blast - Kyoka can form white blasts of energy above her head to shoot towards and assault the enemy.

Manami Miwasaka
Manami is the stereotypical high school teenager. She's into music, loves to shop, and if the mall gave her a bed and her own closet to put her clothes, she would live there. She's normally a shy girl, but not to the point where she strays away from people. Once she gets to know a person well enough, and starts really talking…well, it's a bit difficult to shut her up. But don’t let that fool you; she might be bright and bubbly and sweet enough to make your teeth hurt, but she’s definitely no airhead. Naïve and innocent at heart, like Ryou, she's being watched by the Astronomy Club, but unlike Ryou, she knows about her powers and uses them whenever it's convenient for her.
Primary Power: Language - Manami's powerful ability allows her to make people do whatever she vocally commands them to do when she wills it. However, this power only seems to work on humans.

Makoto Kedoin
Makoto is an enigma in her own right. Unlike Kyoka, she knows of her painful past and chooses to keep it a mystery. She's often quiet, and can be a loose cannon at times. However, behind that hardened exterior is a soft side that she rarely ever shows to anyone. Her voice is often lined with sarcasm, and she's always a pessimist, but for good reason; the poor woman seems to be a magnet for all sorts of bad luck. She doesn't attend school, but instead works in a book shop that her father left her before he died. She's not exactly a part of the "Astronomy Club", but she's allied with them, and she and Izumi have a sort of mutual understanding of each other’s emotional conditions.
Primary Power: Raizen - Makoto can easily punch through and decimate any inanimate object with this power, and if used on a human opponent, can send them flying anywhere from ten to fifty feet backwards.

Tsubasa Hoshikawa
Tsubasa can be described as "the very definition of cool". Although he constantly has girls flocking all over him, he doesn't really pay any attention to them, regarding them as nothing more than spectators . He's constantly focused onto his studies, and if he's not working, he's either listening to his favorite band, or hanging out with his friends in the "Astronomy Club", which he's also a member of. Tsubasa always has an eerily calm air about himself, but he can also get pretty emotional at times as well.
Primary Power: Elemental Strike - A magical incantation that can take the form of or manipulate any elemental force that Tsubasa wishes to use; this includes fire, water, air, and earth.

Takehito Shinkai
Shinkai is, well…he's your typical man's-man. He's into baseball, football, basketball, any sport that the school offers, he joins up. As a result, he's pretty built, and because of this, not many people like to mess with him, or his fellow "Astronomy Club" members when he's around. He's often brash and reckless, and likes to jump into dangerous situations with pure confidence that he'll come out unscathed. He's a great friend, and loyal to those that he trusts.
Primary Power: Multiplication - Shinkai has the ability to split himself into many corporeal mirror images, but the more images he creates, the less power each has.
